Scott Rice:
Scott Rice is a filmmaker, videogame designer and lecturer on the faculty of the University of Texas at Austin Film School. His featured film with IndiePix.net is PERILS IN NUDE MODELING, which is available as a download or DVD. This interview was taken at SXSW 2007.

PERILS IN NUDE MODELING was Scott's thesis film and in a Penguin book about short films, Roger Corman called it a "remarkable tour de force." In July 2005, Shots Magazine named him one of the world's top new directors. He was the first ever nominee for two Student Academy Award Nominations in two different categories in the same year. And he received other awards and recognition from the University of Texas for his work. In his academic work, Scott focuses on writing and digital production, offering courses in both the introductory and advanced levels on several topic in these areas.

He has written, directed and produced a number of projects over the last few years, including commercials (for various corporations and associations), and a cable program (for Showtime). And if that wasn't enough, he's a participant on festival panels and a writer for various publications on film.
