Raul de la Fuente:
How does one capture the life of nomadic people? Having no shared language, filmmaker Raul de la Fuente uses universal forms of communication, respect and humor, to relate to Nomads throughout the world. Fuente was inspired to make this film by “a mixture of the pure heart, the condition of traveling and I wanted to stop and make something knew.” His film about Nomadic people records their simple lifestyle in an attempt to preserve its beauty before these traveling tribes entirely disappear.

Raúl De la Fuente, a graduate of the University of Navarra, has worked as a screenwriter, director of photography and director on video clips and documentaries.

His first projects celebrated musicians, as in 373 AÑOS DE SON, a profile of the Cuban group Vieja Trova Santiaguera. His globe-trotting career includes JANAVAK, a road movie featuring Indian artists; DISTRITO CINCO, tales of survival in the San Francisco neighborhood; and VOLAR, a visual metaphor for freedom starring birds. He is currently working on a feature length documentary in Cuba and a documentary series about film and Latin America planned for 2008.
