Film Info

A man returns to the place where he spent happy holidays in his youth only to find that the past is gone. Five women who once loved him still remain, but the man's one true love has passed. Set in the 1920s, this Polish drama is one of many collaborations between director Andrzej Wajda and actor Daniel Olbrychski. Nominated for the Best Foreign Film Oscar, 1980.
