Rock, Paper, Scissors: A Geek Tragedy
(ON DEMAND)
DIRECTED BY - Mike McKeown
Julian Cautherley's Rock, Paper, Scissors: A Geek Tragedy focuses on the founding of the World Rock Papar Scissors Society. Graham and Douglas Walker hoped to promote Rock Paper Scissors as a fun and safe way to resolve disputes as well as a competitive sport. However, when thousands of RPS fanatics converge on the World RPS Championships, they're caught between big business, talk show pundits, Playmate mascots, and a battle of good versus evil that asks the question: Can purity beat commerce?

" In the same way that docs like Spellbound and Wordplay had our inner geek glued to spelling and crossword competitions... filmmaker Mike McKeown's story of the World RPS Championships (and the influence of big business on a simple dream) is nothing short of riveting." - Joanna Track, Sweetspot.ca
"...an amazing story about the little game involving one hand and three gestures, and the real-life quest of two brothers trying to make it a profitable and viable sport." - Kelly Doody, Calgary Sun
"...even if the Walker brothers appear to be losing control of their sport, director Mike McKeown never loses control of his movie, which is uniformly hilarious and entertaining." - Steve Rhodes, Internet Reviews
"...I'll go on record as saying I believe it is a real documentary." - Jason Wiener, Jason Watches Movies
