Loosely inspired by the infamous Terry Shiavo Case, the dark comedy LADY IN A BOX takes a satirical look at an American family's macabre desire to preserve the memory of a dead loved one.
Sarita Choudhury (MISSISSIPPI MASALA, LADY IN THE WATER) stars as a by-the-numbers lawyer attempting to keep the peace between the father (John Lordan,THE COMPANY, THE STRAIGHT STORY, THE NEGOTIATOR), brother (Luke Rosen), and husband (Sean Hayden) of a idealized woman too...dead to defend herself.
The script for LADY IN A BOX won the AIVF-BVR GET IT MADE PACKAGE as publicized in The Independent magazine in January-February 2006.The film also features the international ambient dance hit Sweet Lassi Dub by The Bhutan Philarmonic.
