The Monastery: Mr. Vig & the Nun is the story of two lonely souls and their destiny to meet each other. Mr. Vig is a 86 year old bachelor livng his life in solarium until by fate Sister Amvrosija comes into his life. his dream of leaving his danish country side castle to the Russian orthodox church to be come a monastery is coming together but only doubt of "what if" stands in his way. As his dreams of turning his life long home into a monastery begin to become reality he has doubts of how he will be remembered and if it is the right time.

The true story of a man falling in love for the first time at 86 with a woman he cant ever love and the dream that kept him going this film is sure to instill a feeling of sympathy and affection to all who watch it.
