Filmed before Uganda's National Theatre, this intimate one-man play recounts the harrowing journey of the Ugandan insurgent Biro, from being diagnosed as HIV-positive in Cuba to serving time in a Texas penitentiary. With a wry sense of humor and a multitude of accents, actor and playwright Ntare Mwine powerfully evokes the uncertainty of exile, and the trials of living in the midst of war.
