This is a film about the complexities of life, family, romance, and art. A romantic comedy that brings to the surface some very important issues about being gay and being happy, NEVER MET PICASSO is also about the challenges faced by a group of young people who party, work, and socialize, trying to balance their youthfulness with the onset of "adult" maturity. The film also features some gorgeous shots of fall foliage in New England, which is enhanced by the lead's seemingly endless array of cozy cold-weather sweaters.
