A Jesuit priest who dedicated much of his life to building missions for Native Americans, Father Kino also helped these indigenous residents of California, Arizona and Mexico sustain agricultural communities. This made-for-TV movie chronicles his adventurous and exciting experience in what was, at the time, a "savage" and unknown land.
