Fernando Colomo's romantic dramedy follows an English writer in early 20th-century Spain who struggles with culture shock while falling for a local girl. Excellent cinematography, a beautiful landscape, and strong performances from leads Matthew Goode and Veronica Sanchez help make this charming film more memorable than many in its genre.
