Johnny To (HEROIC TRIO) directs this action packed thriller, which stars Andy Lau as Tok, a former Olympic marksman who explodes onto the Asian crime scene as its hottest new hitman. A mysterious and flamboyant figure, Tok lines up against Asia's reigning top assassin, the enigmatic hermit known only as "O." Tok's first move is to seduce Chin, O's loyal housekeeper in an attempt to penetrate his inner circle. The three are inevitably drawn into a love triangle that sends both hitmen screaming toward each other, guns blazing. Tok's string of high-profile and somewhat careless hits have not only made him the talk of the underworld, they have also attracted the attention of Interpol Inspector Lee, who longs to put away both "O" and his challenger. Lee and his partner work tirelessly to sniff out an ever bloodier trail as the body count continues to rise.

FULLTIME KILLER is a hypnotic celebration of violence as art. Bullets never looked so elegant searing across the frame, chewing into their victims, and finally, splashing to the ground amid a pool of blood. Many of these sequences draw on other classic action films, so that the movie becomes a giddy reference point for all of the genre's brightest stars. Mr. Lau is also hypnotic in his own way, with a majestic performance that makes mania play like the greatest show on earth.

"As in most Hong Kong thrillers, it's the visuals -- love those boldly choreographed shootouts! -- and moments of absurdity that count."

    - V.A. Musetto, New York Post

"There's plenty to enjoy -- in no small part thanks to Lau."

    - Dennis Lim, Village Voice

"There's a fine chemistry of contrasts between Lau's exuberance and the quiet, slow-burning intensity Takashi Sorimachi brings to his role."

    - Sheri Linden, Hollywood Reporter

“HIGH-OCTANE… Lau Applies his boyish charm full-throttle.”

    - Derek Elley, Variety
