Winston Churchill must get to Casablanca, and he must get there alive.
Amid the frenzy of WWII's gripping final act, the fate of the world may hinge on a single train ride: THE CASABLANCA EXPRESS. As the English Prime Minister chugs across North Africa a Nazi strike force soars overhead waiting to pounce on Britain's very last lion. Luckily, agents Cooper (Jason Connery), Franchetti (Francesco Quinn), and Lora (Jinny Steffan) have been charged with Churchill's protection, but will that be enough to keep Hitler's henchmen at bay? The Third Reich closes in as His Majesty's finest gear up for the dogfight of their lives.
The sons of towering screen legends can often disappoint but both Jason, son of Sir Sean Connery and Francesco, son of the great Anthony Quinn, make for a pleasant surprise, baring their father's considerable mantles with grace. Glenn Ford (THE BIG HEAT, SUPERMAN, 3:10 TO YUMA) and Donald Pleasence (THE GREAT ESCAPE, THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, THE EAGLE HAS LANDED) also appear, expanding their own considerable mantles.
This is a delicious pressure cooker of a film, with nail biting action and a heinous act of treachery you won't soon forget.
