The Forbidden Relations DVD focuses on misunderstood desires and secret passions are at the heart of this incest drama from Hungary. Siblings Jui and Gyorgy have a relationship that extends beyond family lines when they become lovers, enraging the community. Juli is impregnated and Gyorgy is imprisoned, but their bond only intensifies as they stand defiantly against a world opposed to their union. This 1982 film was an official selection of both the Cannes and New York Film Festivals.
