IndiePix, Celebrating Independent Film

2015 Year in Review

In 2015, our international slate celebrated a diversity of films from countries such as Turkey, Tanzania, South Korea and Spain. From the socialist critiques of a Romanian film collective to the quirky underdog tale of a loner in post-apocalyptic Ethiopia, this year brought us a dazzlingly multilingual and socially relevant set.

See beyond the status quo with SO BRIGHT IS THE VIEW, SHIPS and SOLDATE JEANNETTE. For a hopeful jolt towards persistence, take a 5 minute tour of FACTORY MAN and fashion a spin on the positive.

To deal with what's real, step into Malini Schueller's IN HIS OWN HOME and Noaz Deshe's hauntingly beautiful fever dream WHITE SHADOW; you'll find fuel for your fire and then some.

Should the surreal tend to steal you, see CRUMBS. Savor it with CHIGGER ALE and NIGHT IN THE WILD GARDEN - wild are the winds therein and the lights take flight.

As for FALLING STAR - it's one Stella you won't want to Cadente. Onwards, to 2016...
