Amir Mann

Amir Mann was born and raised in Israel. After serving in the Israeli army, Amir pursued his dream of becoming a filmmaker and attended NYU film school. In his years at NYU, Amir made several short films. His thesis film, WARSAW STORY, was screened at numerous film festivals, was nominated for a student Academy Award and was sold for worldwide distribution. In January 2000, Amir and his producing partner Dana Janklowicz-Mann opened Rebel Child Productions, an independent production company, and have produced two films under this banner, MENACE and SHANGHAI GHETTO. Amir has also won a Slamdance screenwriting award in 2003 for his screenplay FINAL AWAKENING that was produced by New Line’s Twilight Zone.
