Marcy Garriott

Marcy Garriott is a documentary filmmaker based in Austin, TX. She first produced and directed SPLIT DECISION, distributed by First Run Features, about a talented boxer deported to Mexico for a youthful crime. INSIDE THE CIRCLE, the story of three bboys struggling to keep dance at the center of their lives, aired on MTV last year and is distributed by Cinema Libre Studio. Most recently, Marcy produced THE LEAST OF THESE, about immigrant family detention policies. Marcy is a former Austin Film Society board member and president, currently serving on the board of KLRU and the advisory board of Cine Las Americas.
