IndiePix, Celebrating Independent Film

Michael Palmerio

Palmerio studied film at Columbia College in Chicago, where he established himself as a key figure in the Windy City's vibrant independent film scene. His early feature editing credits include the festival-hit comedy Totally Confused and the critically acclaimed verité drama Straightman, which he also co-produced. In addition, Palmerio carries both editing and producing credits on the Slamdance award winning documentary Amerikan Passport as well as the feature doc Monday Night at the Rock-n-Bowl.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, Palmerio has cut the Lions Gate release Dummy, starring Adrien Brody, along with editing the features Surviving Eden, Unbeatable Harold, Walk the Talk, Nice Bombs, Pittsburgh, and now Redland. Palmerio’s television credits include the Fox documentary series Preps, Sony Television’s Pat Croce - Moving In, and the syndicated extreme sports show Adrenaline TV.
