Benjamin Dohrmann

Benjamin Dohrmann has most recently been working as an editor on Ondi Timoner's 2010 film, "Cool It," which premiered at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival. Dohrmann's short film, "Kelp," which he co-wrote and co-directed, premiered at SXSW in 2010, won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Philadelphia Film Festival in 2010, and will begin touring with the international film series, Independent Exposure, before being distributed by IndiePix Films. In the fall of 2010, Dohrmann founded Benjamin Dohrmann Films, a film production company dedicated to the development and production of non-fiction film and television. Dohrmann is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he received the Middleton Prize for excellence in fiction writing. Although he is currently living in Los Angeles, he spends as much time as possible in his native New England, a place he holds close to heart. Dohrmann is currently collaborating with STSP on "Mateo," where he is serving as Executive Producer.
