Joe Wolf

Born and raised in good ol West Des Moines, IA and a graduate of Columbia-College Chicago with a degree in filmmaking, Joe Wolf’s love for movies began with Benji. He founded The Survival, LLC in 2005 to back the production, distribution/exhibition, and promotion of The Survival of the Wildebeest, which is Wolf’s directorial debut and first feature length documentary. Wolf met artist Stuart Ross while visiting NYC and spent 9 months with the artist filming daily the artist’s life and struggles. Wolf trusts his professional effort and hands-on experience will lead him into a Hollywood director’s chair, name on the back and all. He is an avid Cubs fan, love’s soup, Penne Puttanesca and cold beer.
