IndiePix, Celebrating Independent Film

Daniel Dávila

Daniel Dávila, a native of Ecuador, has worked as a director and a producer in short format and commercial projects for nearly a decade. His short film "Things Fall" played at festivals around the world, winning several awards. Daniel is also the co-founder of Momentum Cinema, and with his partners has dedicated himself to the creation of feature material that explores the magic in the world around us. Whether through the passion for the very real, or the wonder and the fantastical, Daniel strives to create films that move audiences to see the possibilities so often hidden in the modern world. He sees narrative as the most effective and potent vehicle for the expression of values and ideas, and seeks to understand how we experience narrative in our daily lives. Daniel holds a certificate in production from NYU, an MFA from the Stark Program at USC, and an MBA from Stanford. HARRISON MONTGOMERY is his feature directorial debut.
