Mark Duplass

Brothers Jay and Mark Duplass were nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards for THE PUFFY CHAIR, which premiered at Sundance in 2005. The film was also awarded the Emerging Vision Award SXSW, and was jointly distributed by Roadside Attractions and Netflix. The brothers’ second effort BAGHEAD played at the 2008 Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals, and was distributed by Sony Pictures Classics. The Duplass Brothers will premiere CYRUS, their first studio project at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. It stars John C. Reilly, Marissa Tomei, Jonah Hill, and Catherine Keener, and was produced by Michael Costigan at Fox Searchlight. As an actor, Mark co-starred in THE PUFFY CHAIR, Joe Swanberg's HANNAH TAKES THE STAIRS (IFC Films), and 2009's breakout Sundance hit HUMPDAY. He most recently completed a role in Noah Baumbach's GREENBERG and is starring in the FX Television show “The League.”
