Who is KK Downey Contest

About the contest:

IndiePix Films is holding a contest to coincide with the release of WHO IS KK DOWNEY? the debut feature-length comedy from Montreal-based Kidnapper Films. The contest will be hosted through the IndiePix Films Twitter account. The Grand Prize winner will get A Year of Independent Film absolutely FREE! Every month, you will receive free of charge one of IndiePix's newest releases on DVD for the next twelve months, starting with a signed copy of “Who Is KK Downey?”

Rules of the game:

1. All entries to this contest must be made via Twitter posts.
2. An entry must contain both "@indiepixfilms" and "#kkdowney" plus your guess as to who KK Downey might be.
         (Example: @indiepixfilms #kkdowney is the ghost of Jim Caroll.)
3. Entries must be received before 12:00 a.m. EST 11/03/09.
4. Multiple entries are allowed but only one entry per person per day will be counted.

Notification

The winner will be chosen at random from the entries received and will be announced on Tuesday, 11/03/09. 
The winning entry will be announced on the IndiePixFilms.com website and newsletter as well as any social media outlet (Twitter, Facebook) administrated by IndiePix Films on 11/03/09. Following the announcement, individual winners will be notified through their Twitter account and asked to provide the necessary information (e-mail and shipping address) to claim their prize. The winner will have 14 days from notification to claim their prize. If the selected winner does not claim their prize, a new winner may be selected. 

You must be at least 18 years old to win. Members of the IndiePix staff or Kidnapper Films and their respective family members or affiliates are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited.

If you are selected as a contest winner, you agree that IndiePix Films may publicize your name and likeness.
Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of entries received. No prize substitution is permitted. Winner(s) may be required to verify their entry.

Legalese/Absolution

By participating, entrants agree that IndiePix Films and its affiliates and employees shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third-party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this contest, including entry and participation in this contest and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes. All entrants further agree that in the event of any third-party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this contest, they will indemnify IndiePix Films from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees related thereto. IndiePix Films will not be responsible for any technical malfunctions of the online system, computer equipment, software, program malfunctions or other failures, delayed computer transactions or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from this contest. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this contest will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
