Thanksgiving Cornucopia!

Turkey with stuffing, sweet potatoes, family, football, pilgrim hats. That's right, it's Thanksgiving! And instead of watching "Miracle on 34th Street" for the umpteenth time, we've put together a cornucopia of films for the holiday, with a little something for everyone.

Three films center on Thanksgiving itself: Pieces of April, starring Katie Holmes, Capturing the Friedmans in which a family's world turns upside-down during Thanksgiving dinner, and Edward R. Murrow's controversial exposé on migrant workers, Harvest of Shame, which originally aired the day after Thanksgiving.

For the football fan, there's Go Tigers, an inspiring look at the American obsession with football even at the high-school level and Marshall University: Ashes to Glory about the Phoenix-like resurrection of a college team.

Three films deal with issues surrounding Native Americans and their treatment by the American settlers (Broken Rainbow, Westerns With A Twist, and The Father Kino Story).

Finally, what would Thanksgiving be without food? Super Size Me deals with the growing trend (pun intended) of obesity in America. And last but certainly not least, we're proud to offer the Skid Row 2008 Holiday Activist Edition where 33% of every purchase is donated to a Food Kitchen or Soup Kitchen of your choice. Don't miss out on your chance to give back this holiday season!
