IndiePix, Celebrating Independent Film

An Ode to Summer

Here at Indiepix we're no strangers to that summer feelin' that gets us all a-tinglin'. In the world of season films the iconic 'summer film' is all about the sun and the surf; a new love and a fresh start before the autumn grinds. Inherently, though, the films we love to see from June – August are the ones that leave us with a good feeling while we're cuddled next to a sweetheart or sharing a drink at the beach house with our closest friends. This Summer Collection showcases major titles that even the most reclusive indie fan would immediately recognize including the widely popular Little Miss Sunshine and the well-received (500) Days of Summer. Mixing in a few feel-good docs about the love, surf, and music (The Endless Summer, The Omback, & A Tickle in the Heart) with a dash or two of good-ol'-fashion love story (albeit one that may or may not go terribly wrong), this collection promises to be the perfect recipe to enjoy all summer long.
